Ana Popescu is an illustrator based in Vienna.
Having majored in printmaking and drawing, Ana works with various themes and spatial perception as the subject matter. Her projects with global brands as well as her personal work never stop, and she continues her exhibition activities in major cities called art hubs such as New York, London, Tokyo, and Shanghai. Ana's work is characterized by simple forms and vivid colors. In her works, there is always a strong contrast between light and shade, and the distorted perspective that prevailed on the entire screen conveys a special feeling to the person facing each other. Ana's work, which transforms the real moments into full-colored unreality and builds them back into realistic scenes, is built as her own unique style.

판화와 드로잉을 전공한 그녀는 다양한 테마와 공간 지각을 주제로 삼아 작업합니다. 글로벌 브랜드들과의 프로젝트는 물론 개인작업 역시 멈추지 않는 그녀는, 뉴욕, 런던, 도쿄, 상해 등 예술 중심지라 일컬어지는 주요 도시들에서 전시활동을 꾸준히 이어가고 있습니다. 아나의 작품은 심플한 형상과 선명한 색감이 특징적입니다. 그녀의 작품에선 언제나 빛과 그림자가 강한 대비를 이루고 있으며 화면 전체를 관통하는 왜곡된 투시법은 마주 선 이에게 특별한 느낌을 전합니다. 현실의 순간을 총천연색의 비현실로 바꾸어 다시 현실적인 장면으로 구축하는 아나의 작업은 그녀만의 독특한 화풍으로 구축되고 있습니다.
