현대백화점 중동점에선 글로벌 아티스트 4인의 원화 전시를 진행하였습니다. 타구 반나이(일본), 코타로 마치야마(일본), 돌로레스 펠프스(영국), 낫다오(태국)의 작품 10여 점으로 한 달간 이어진 <다정한 봄날>展은, 현장에서 구매까지 가능한 갤러리 전시의 형태로 진행되며 많은 이들의 관심을 모았습니다. 화이트 큐브 대신 가장 익숙한 공간 사이에 조성된 <다정한 봄날>展, 소비하는 쇼핑의 공간을 가꾸어, 문화를 즐기고 향유할 수 있는 경험의 공간으로 가다듬었습니다.
Pinzle held an exhibition of original paintings by four global artists at Hyundai Department Store’s Jungdong Branch. The exhibition, <My Dream Day>, consisted of about 10 works by Taku Bannai(Japan), Kotaro Machiyama(Japan), Dolores Phelps(UK), and Nutdao(Thailand) and lasted for a month in the form of a gallery that could be purchased on site. Placed in the most familiar site instead of the white cube, the exhibition transformed the space for consuming shopping into an experience space where people can enjoy the culture intimately.
